Timothy J. Maloney, President of the Western New York Softball Hall of Fame, today announced the Class of 2016 Inductees to the Hall. This year’s class has 13 members  which include players, coaches and umpires. The 2016 inductees are:

Rick Coppola-East Concord, NY

Vic DeGeorge-Buffalo, NY

Paul DiNello-Cheektowaga, NY

John Dry-Salamanca, NY

Richard Jakubczyk-Dunkirk, NY

Donna Michalek-Cheektowaga, NY

Terry Presto-Brocton, NY

Hank Puleo-Angola, NY

Dave Scott-North Tonawanda, NY

P. Michael Terlecky-Williamsville, NY

Steve Ulmer-Getzville, NY

Jerry Whitehead-Wilson, NY

The Class of 2016 will be inducted at formal ceremonies on Friday, September 16 at 6:00 PM at Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant at 3785 South Park Avenue in Blasdell.

The WNY Softball Hall of Fame was established in 1965 and this will be the 39th class to be inducted. The Hall has inducted over 800 members both living and deceased.
