March 18, 2014 –The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, announced today that Sportsnet 590 The FAN in Toronto, the radio home for Blue Jays baseball, will carry the live broadcast of six Buffalo Bisons games during the summer of 2014.
The simulcast schedule will begin on Tuesday, July 1 as the Bisons face the Syracuse Chiefs at NBT Stadium in Syracuse, NY (7:00 p.m.). This will be the second consecutive season Sportsnet 590 The FAN has carried the live broadcast of Bisons games.
Each broadcast will feature “The Voice of the Bisons,” Ben Wagner as well as the color commentary of Buffalo Baseball Hall of Famer, Duke McGuire. Pat Malacaro from WGR Sportsradio 550 AM in Buffalo is also a member of the Bisons broadcasting team.
Sportsnet 590 The FAN is the home of the Toronto Blue Jays and unanimous radio destination for Toronto sports fans. An official broadcaster of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors and Toronto FC, it boasts a lineup that includes Canada’s most-listened to sports afternoon drive show – Prime Time Sports – and features the top sports personalities in the country.
