ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has re-signed three exclusive rights free agents: WR Chris Hogan, OL Antoine McClain and FB Frank Summers. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Hogan played in each of the team’s 16 games in 2013 and made 10 catches for 83 yards and added 10 special teams tackles. A 6-1, 220-pound Monmouth (N.J.), Hogan entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers in 2011 and spent a portion of his rookie year on the practice squads of Miami and New York Giants before joining the Bills in 2012.
McClain joined the Bills 53-man roster on October 7, 2013 after being released by the Oakland Raiders. The 6-5, 336-pound Clemson product entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2012 and spent his rookie season on the team’s Practice Squad.
Summers appeared in 15 games (nine starts) for Buffalo in 2013 and tallied the first touchdown of his NFL career, while posting 12 carries for 46 yards. The 5-9, 248-pound UNLV product joined Buffalo as a free agent during the 2013 training camp. He was a fifth-round (169th overall) draft selection of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2009.
