ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has signed first-round draft selection (4th overall) WR Sammy Watkins. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Watkins set career records at Clemson in receptions (240) and receiving yards (3,391) and tied former teammate DeAndre Hopkins for the most touchdowns (27) in a Tiger career. The 6-1, 211-pound wide receiver posted school and league single-season bests in 2013, totaling 101 catches for 1,464 yards and 12 touchdowns.
