The Buffalo Sabres are holding a 1pm news conference today to announce they have secured the 2015 & 2016 NHL Combine. The NHL Combine has been held in Toronto, but the Sabres applied to have it moved to Buffalo two years ago when construction of the HarborCenter was begun. The Combine assembles the eligible players for that year’s NHL Draft and they are tested and interviewed the leagues scouts and GM’s.
Sources have also told All Sports WNY that the Sabres will receive the 2016 NHL Draft, but there has been no confirmation from the Sabres on that.
