BUFFALO, N.Y. (July 9, 2015) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced more than 10,000 tickets have already been sold for the team’s development camp scrimmage on Friday, July 10 at First Niagara Center, and the organization anticipates a record crowd in excess of 15,000 fans for the event.
Tickets for the scrimmage are still on sale for $10, and can be purchased at the Sabres box office or online at Sabres.com. Fans are encouraged to buy tickets before arriving for the scrimmage to reserve their seats and avoid long lines at the ticket window before the game. The box office is open until 5 p.m. today and will be open from 9 a.m. until the end of the second period of the scrimmage on Friday.
For fans attending the scrimmage, parking in the First Niagara Center and HARBORCENTER ramps will be $5, and parking in the surface lots between Mississippi Street and Michigan Avenue will cost $3. Gates will open at 6 p.m., with the scrimmage scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
The teams will each participate in a pre-scrimmage skate on Friday morning, with one team skating at 9:45 a.m. and the other taking the ice at 11:15 after a short break to resurface the ice.
Fans that are unable to attend the scrimmage can visit First Niagara Center on Sunday, July 12 at 10:30 a.m. to see the Sabres’ final development camp practice and 3-on-3 tournament.
