SANBORN, N.Y. – The Niagara County Community College (NCCC) 1977-1978 Men’s Basketball national championship finalist team who ended their season (26-1) will be honored on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at half time of the NCCC Men’s game hosting Onondaga CC at 3:00PM.

This is the 40th anniversary of the national championship game in which over 13,000 people watched NCCC lose to Independence Community College at the buzzer 62-61.   

The 1977-1978 basketball team was coached by Dan Bazzani and assistant coach Joe Colosi.  All NCCC men’s basketball alumni are invited to attend the reception at halftime. All alumni will be offered free admission to the game.
