In years past the mere mention of playing the New England Patriots brought angst to most Buffalo Bills fans. Add to that meeting the Pats in the playoffs and the anxiety level raises ten-fold. Yet, indicators point in the Bills favor in just about every category for Saturday’s matchup.

The Patriots have lost three of their last four games after their bye-week, while the Bills are on a four game win streak since their December 6th loss to the Pats.

New England’s defense has become susceptible to the run over the past month while the Bills rushing offense has suddenly become a weapon.

The Pats feasted on the Bills rush defense on December 6th with 222 yards on the ground, but Buffalo hasn’t given up anything close to that since and Harrison Phillips has emerged as a stout middle defender.

Bill Belichick had owned the Bills during the Tom Brady era, but has dropped three of the last four meetings without the GOAT in his backfield and Matt Jones has done little to compensate for that.

Add in the frigid temperatures and home-field advantage and the Bills should be looking to advance to the Divisional round next week.

Notice, all of the above doesn’t once mention Josh Allen’s presence on the field, so all-in-all I feel pretty, pretty, good about the Bills over the Pats. My pick is Buffalo 27, New Enland 14. Nuff said.
