BUFFALO, N.Y. (December 5, 2013) — Buffalo Sabres president of hockey operations Pat LaFontaine today announced the team has recalled defenseman Brayden McNabb from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL).

McNabb (1/21/91, 6’4”, 207 lbs), who was assigned to Rochester yesterday after being called up by the Sabres on Nov. 20, tallied three points (1+2) for the Amerks last night in the team’s 6-1 rout of the Utica Comets. In 28 career NHL games, McNabb has recorded eight points (1+7) and 15 penalty minutes. He was drafted by the Sabres in the third round (66th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Buffalo in May 2011.
