Orchard Park, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has traded LB Kelvin Sheppard to the Indianapolis Colts for LB Jerry Hughes.
Hughes appeared in 16 games (six starts) in 2012 with Indianapolis and totaled 41 tackles (29 solo), a career-high 4..0 sacks and one pass break-up.
The 6-2, 254-pound Texas Christian University product entered the NFL as a first-round (31st overall) draft selection of Indianapolis in 2010. He has appeared in 40 games (seven starts) and totaled 62 tackles (41 solo) and 5.0 sacks in his career.
