ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced the signings of fourth round draft selection (109th overall) CB Ross Cockrell and seventh-round draft selections (221st overall) LB Randell Johnson and (237th overall) OL Seantrel Henderson.
Cockrell started all 49 games played at Duke where he registered 233 tackles, 42 pass break-ups, 12 interceptions and two sacks. The 6-0, 190-pound cornerback served as a captain and received first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference accolades in 2012 and 2013.
Johnson saw action in 42 games at Florida Atlantic. The 6-4, 245-pound linebacker amassed 195 tackles and matched the school record for tackles for a loss (30.5) in his collegiate career.
Henderson started 26-of-43 games at Miami.. The 6-7, 331-pound offensive lineman received All-Atlantic Coast third-team honors in 2013 and was part of an offensive line that helped generate 425.8 yards per game.
Cockrell, Johnson and Henderson are the first of the Bills’ seven draft picks to sign with the team.
