The Buffalo Sabres have suddenly developed a scoring touch coming up with two goals in the 3rd period to beat the Boston Bruins 4-2. Drew Stafford scored the winning goal in the third period and Ryan Miller made 34 saves to keep the favored Bruins off the scoreboard.
Marcus Foligno and Brian Flynn both had a goal and an assist, and Tyler Myers also scored for the Sabres which has now won consecutive games for the first time since Nov. 15.
Brad Marchand scored both Bruins goals, and Chad Johnson allowed four goals on 23 shots.
The Sabres have now picked up seven points in their last five games and now travel to Boston to face the Bruins on Saturday.
