The Buffalo Sabres won their second straight under interim coach Ron Rolston, edging Florida 4-3 in a shoot-out. Nathan Gerbe scored twice to lead the Sabres and Vanek and Pominville both sciored in the shootout to clinch the victory.
Tyler Ennis scored Buffalo’s other goal while former Sabre Brian Campbell scored in the third for Florida to force OT.
With the win the Sabres are now 7-12-1 and have 15 points. The Sabres return home on Saturday to host the New Jersey Devils in a 3pm contest.
