ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced the signing of one of the team’s second-round draft selections (46th overall) LB Kiko Alonso. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Alonso registered 143 tackles (99 solo), six interceptions and 3.5 sacks in 36 games with 17 starts at Oregon. He posted a career-year in 2012 finishing with 81 tackles (58 solo) in 12 starts. Alonso was named Rose Bowl Defensive Player of the Game in Oregon’s 45-38 win over Wisconsin as he tallied an interception, 1.5 sacks and five tackles (1/2/12).
Alonso is the sixth of the Bills’ eight draft picks to sign with the team.
