Q: Do you think other teams will look at you guys and think they can provoke the same thing?
A: Oh yeah. I mean everybody thinks we are going to beat ourselves. The way we act, the way we are reacting and we can’t allow that. We got to keep calm, cool and just go out there and play the game the way it is supposed to be played.
Q: What have you talked about doing differently?
A: I mean you just got to handled it. Stuff happens, I mean it is our jobs. People see us in our good and bad ways. I mean stuff happens, but you got to control it. So we all have to sit down and understand we can’t act like that on the field.
Q: Is there more that needs to be asked of the defense this week with the injuries on offense?
A: I mean in a game like last week, we couldn’t let them score at all. The way the offense was playing we had to hold them to a lot less points. I mean their defense played better than our defense and we can’t allow that if we want to win games.
Q: What do you say to referees when things like that happen?
A: That series they were kind of after us, they were looking for anything and everything to throw the flag at us. Like I said the guy threw a punch at me so I reacted, I mean I can’t allow that to happen. But people thought he just said something to me, but that wasn’t the case. But you got to take it how it is.
Q: Confident the team can bounce back again after a loss?
A: Yeah. I mean we are 2-2 it is not the end of the world. We got a long season to go. We go out there and get a win on Sunday we are right back on track.

Q: What do you make of what’s going on at the backfield position?
A: Obviously it’s unfortunate to have injuries, but it’s the NFL so it happens. Especially that position because they take a lot of hits but we’ve got other guys. Boobie (Dixon), obviously he’s been around and he’s ran the football before, Cierre (Wood) has come in here and done a good job, so we’ll have guys step up until we can get those guys back.
Q: How frustrating is this for the offense?
A: I don’t think it’s that frustrating, it’s like I said, we all understand its part of the NFL, injuries happen. Obviously you’d like to be at 100% full strength, but that’s rarely the case in the NFL. So it’s all about guys stepping up and getting the job done and we expect those guys to do that.
Q: Do you think you’ll get a few more carries?
A: I don’t know, we’ll see. I’ll be ready, I’ll be ready, so we’ll see how practice goes this week and see who’s available and we’ll go from there.
Q: Can you comment on the slow start from this offense and the all of the three and out’s and punts last week?
A: Yeah, we have to execute a lot better, obviously I don’t think we’ve been very good on first downs, especially this past Sunday, so that’s something we’re going to have to focus on and get better at. But usually when you’re better on first down it leads to easier third down conversions, so that’s something we need to get better at as a team and work hard at this week.
Q: How much changes your role as a fullback based on the running back behind you?
A: That depends, I don’t know what the game plan is this week so that will be up to the coaching staff. Whatever game plan we get, it’s up to us to execute it, so we’ll have a good week of practice this week and get things done and see where we go from there.

Q: Do you think you’ll be able to play this week?
A: Man, we’ll see. Just have to take it day-by-day, see how everything feels, and hopefully I’ll be back out there.
Q: What are you doing right now as far as rehabbing?
A: Not much you can do, really. Just let it heal on its own, the bones grow back together, just been really resting and working out, trying to stay in shape and just come back ready.
Q: Do you feel with (Sammy) Watkins out that you need more explosive plays, guys that can get down the field?
A: Yeah, I feel like I need to be out there, but you know for whatever circumstances, you know, being hurt, you just have to deal with it, something I have to get past and so really just looking forward to being out there now.
Q: What’s the level of discomfort when you’re making cuts or running routes?
A: It’s tolerable man. I have a pretty high pain tolerance, so that really doesn’t affect me getting in and out of routes and stuff. I really don’t know as far as the jam and everything, just going to kind of play it by ear, just go out there and see if that makes a difference.

Q: Potentially a larger role this week how do you feel about that?
A: I mean I feel great, you know I mean not about that situation with Karlos [Williams]. You know I was with him the day he found out you know so all my prayers are with him, hope he has a speedy recovery. But it is back to business as usual. You know Rex [Ryan] promotes you got to be the next one in, you got to be ready. So that is what the situation is right. Most of the backs are ready, so business will go on as usual.
Q: Do you think about it differently preparing for this week knowing your role could be expanded?
A: Not really. It is just another work day. Whether they use me or not. Or they use me the same amount as they did last game, it really doesn’t matter I am going to be prepared either way. So like I said it is just next one in.
Q: You have any familiarity with the Titans you spent some time in the AFC south?
A: I do believe there is some familiarity within the Titans. So we will see what we have in store as far as our game plan goes. But in this game you really remember everybody that you play, their do’s and their don’t and what not. Like I said, it could help me and it could not depending on what they do, depending on what our game plan is. But like I said all that really should matter if you come out and execute–what they do is really irrelevant.
Q: What is pass protection like for you?
A: I know, I did great. Pass protection is very, very easy to me. So it shouldn’t be any problem going forward. It is part of my job as a running back it is really nothing to me.
Q: You did blitz pick up and a couple linemen came over and tapped you on the head?
A: Yeah, they always want to make sure that everything is picked up. I got to have full confidence in them, just as the same they have to have full confidence in me to pick up what they don’t get and what the line can’t pick up at that time. That was just my line giving me a little bit of props, and I appreciate it and it was just back to the next play.
