BUFFALO, N.Y. (April 1, 2013) — Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier today announced that the Sabres have traded defenseman Robyn Regehr to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for Los Angeles’ second-round draft picks in the 2014 and 2015 NHL Entry Drafts.
Regehr was acquired by Buffalo in 2011 from Calgary, along with Ales Kotalik and a 2nd-rd pick in 2012, in exchange for Chris Butler and Paul Byron. In 105 games played with the Sabres, Regehr recorded seven points (1+6) and 77 penalty minutes.
